La Ferme du Pressoir offers bed and breakfast / gite accommodations in a stone farmhouse dating from circa 1650. The farm has remained in the same family since it was built!
The property is perfectly situated for visiting the D-day beaches, Mont St Michel, Bayeux and Caen - being just about in the middle of them all!
La Ferme du Pressoir is still a working farm with 600 acres of land, mainly arable - but also with Charolais cattle.
Odile and Jacques Delalande are French; and although their English is not perfect they are the perfect host and hostess as many of their new friends will confirm (have a look at the guest comments on the contact page) Odile will charm you and ensure that you do not go hungry at the start of your day! Jacques and sons, Guillaume and Olivier will show you around the farm and you will probably get to sample some home-made Calvados |
